MCA had the privilege of hosting a training session on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for SMEs, by Professor S Sundararajan. The training session was held on Saturday and was aimed at educating MCAces on the latest updates and best practices in IFRS.
Professor S Sundararajan, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is an expert in a unique combination of fields like mathematics, statistics, law, accounting and management. With over 5 decades of rich and varied experience in consulting, advisory and training in finance and business management, Professor Sundararajan has designed and delivered more than 100 Executive Education Programs in the Gulf Region since 2009, covering topics like Corporate Governance, Financial Statement Analysis, US GAAP, IFRS, EVA, Balanced Score Card, Valuation of Companies, and Strategic Cost Management. He is also a recipient of Best Professor Awards from the students at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), where he was a Professor for 18 years.
He is presently a Director at the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, Oman; Knowledge Partner with GION, a global network of 20 international accounting and audit firms promoted by MCA Gulf, and partner in ICMA Online LLC, UAE.
