MCA’s journey
As you may be aware, the journey of MCA – professional services firm providing consulting and audit services started in 2009 with our first office in Dubai at Al Rostamani Tower A, Sheikh Zayed Road. We recently completed our 12 years of journey and incredibly proud of our accomplishments of delivering high-quality services while adhering to high ethical standards and serving hundreds of clients across the Middle East and Africa across several industry verticals ranging from Government, Multi-nationals, Public listed companies, Private companies – partnership and sole proprietorship, Family offices and Not for Profit entities. During this period, we were able to attract and retain well-qualified finance professionals by providing a rewarding career path and our key management team members have stayed with us for the last 7 plus years! Apart from this, we have been able to provide on the job training to several aspiring Chartered Accountants which is required as part of the course program. Over the years we have developed a strong ethos of “MCA Family” where relationships with past and current employees are valued and we stay connected. The journey from a single office in Dubai has now grown to 3 offices in Dubai, branches in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in UAE and expansion to Bahrain and recently to Oman.
New Partner
I take this opportunity to announce Mr R Lakshmanan has joined MCA as “Senior Partner” with effect from January 2021. Lakshmanan is a dear friend to me and Hanumanth and professionally we have been partners for MCA Bahrain operations since October 2018. By bringing Lakshmanan on board, we have solidified our relationship further whilst ensuring stability to the organization. I am pleased to inform you that Lakshmanan is a proven results-oriented leader with 28 years of holistic experience including 20 years at “C” level across public listed and private companies in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and India. Unfortunately, due to personal/ family reasons our Partner Mr M Hanumantha Kumar decided to step down during 1st quarter of 2021. Though it is personally a sad news for ‘MCA Family’ members, I respect his decision. I thank Hanumanth from the bottom of my heart for his invaluable contribution to MCA’s growth and wish him good luck in his future endeavors. We had great journey for the past 12 years and I am glad that we have together built MCA like a corporate where such changes are absorbed, and the business continues as usual without affecting our high-quality service to valuable clients.
