IIT Madras Global Launches First Applied AI Centre in DCC with MCA

In a significant step strengthening the India UAE technology corridor, IITM Global and Dubai CommerCity have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the UAE’s first Applied Artificial Intelligence Innovation Centre.

The Centre aims to position Dubai as a regional and global launchpad for applied AI innovation, enabling solutions to be developed, deployed, and scaled through a long term platform focused on sustainable innovation and value creation. By facilitating market access and investment pathways across the GCC, the initiative will serve as a bridge for deep technology commercialization and responsible AI adoption.

The signing aligns with the broader momentum around advanced technology collaboration between India and the UAE, reinforcing innovation led growth and digital trade partnerships as key pillars of bilateral cooperation.

We are pleased to inform that MCA Gulf facilitated this strategic partnership as a partner of IIT Madras Global Research Foundation in Dubai, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing applied AI research, industry integration, and cross border innovation.
