Ram has over 25 years of professional multi-functional experience in the region. He is Big 4 trained US CPA, Indian FCA driving excellence and innovation in financial practices, training, and mentoring finance teams across different industries.

Experience:

• Led the finance policies and procedures functions for one of the largest Oil & Gas Group of companies in the region and was responsible for establishing governance standards and principles across 15+ operating subsidiaries/ JVs. During these engagements, was extensively involved in interactions with Board and C-level executives in driving initiatives in the following areas:
  • Finance Policies and Procedures
  • Corporate Governance and Delegation matters
  • Cost allocation and budgeting frameworks
  • Credit Policies and Bank Mandates
  • Expertise in multi-functional areas playing internal business partner role with proven problem-solving abilities working closelywith senior stakeholders in Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal, IT, and General Services across the Group.
• Responsible for oversight and monitoring over 3rd party consultants in terms of delivery of objectives, milestones, and valuewith extensive experience in project management, oversight on budgets, and ensuring stakeholders are proactively engaged to ensure timely completion and achievement of engagement objectives.
• Directly managed team of 5 specialists as well as dotted line reporting by specialists from across group companies.

Expertise:

•  Led the finance transformation of a regional $1 Billion beverage manufacturer as Finance Manager –Sales and Marketing by upskilling the finance team, introducing standardized reporting, and ensuring financially prudent sales, marketing, and inventory practices
• As Commercial Manager for US MNC, set up the regional contract manufacturing and warehousing operations for leading US Personal Care Company improving profitability and increasing market share.
• As Finance Manager, for Global Logistics arm of leading UK based shipping company introducing standardized costing models to price supply chain contracts ensuring efficiency, transparency, and profitability in operations.
