Prabhdeep Singh Baweja

Prabhdeep is Director- Growth and Markets at MCA. He has experience of more than 17 years and has led critical leadership initiatives in his work career. In his role at MCA, he engages with clients and organizations for driving growth and expanding the services of MCA in different markets of the middle east region.

Qualification: A professionally qualified Chartered Accountant and holding a Bachelor of Commerce.

Experience:

• He currently heads the ‘Growth and Markets’ team at MCA for engaging with the global and local organizations to provide Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Advisory services. The engagement with organizations enables discussion for growth opportunities and assisting the organizations in meeting their compliance requirements.
• He is responsible for ‘Global Development and Operations’ at GION to support growth of the organizations globally. He engages with members of GION in 6 continents and he is responsible for enabling presence of GION in newer markets.
• In his immediate past role at ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’, as a Regional Director for Middle East and Africa, he led the operations of ICAI in these two regions for 8 years.
• His earlier work assignments include nine years in Professional Practice with BDO and other top Accounting Firms in Audit and Assurance domain.

Expertise:Prabhdeep is highly experienced in strategic planning, operations management, audit and assurance, project management and change management.

Geographies Covered: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.
