Experience: Mr. Alaga Raja is a distinguished banking professional with versatile expertise across key segments of the financial industry. As the former Country Head at Doha Bank, he provided strategic leadership in corporate, retail, investment banking, treasury, private equity, asset management, and banking operations. His influence extends across the GCC, India, and East Africa, reflecting a profound understanding of diverse financial landscapes.

During his tenure at Doha Bank, Mr. Alaga Raja served as the Head of Abu Dhabi, further enhancing his impact in the United Arab Emirates. His earlier role as Managing Director at CFM International in Dubai (2011-2015) showcased his ability to navigate complex financial scenarios.

With a rich background, including roles as Deputy General Manager at National Bank of Oman and Bank Muscat, spanning a total of 18 years, Mr. Alaga Raja has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership. His experience also includes a significant term as the CEO of Industrial Bank of Oman from 2000 to 2003.

Expertise: Successfully negotiated several financial restructuring transactions in various industries in the GCC with multiple banks involved. Advised family groups for capital restructuring, compliance, and sourced debt and equity for stabilizing operations and growth.
