MCA powers The HR Summit by ICAI Bahrain
MCA was honoured to power 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗥 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁: 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲. 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀. hosted by ICAI Bahrain on June 18 at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa.
The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries and government officials, including H.E. Abdulnabi Shoala, Former Minister of Labour and Social Affairs in Bahrain, and Mr. Ravi Jain, First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Bahrain, adding significance to the discussions on strategic HR leadership and national workforce development. With powerful keynote sessions, the event also brought together a dynamic community of CEOs, Finance and HR leaders focused on the future of work.
Special thanks to Ms. Nouf Al Sowaidi, Group CHRO at Bapco Energies, for her inspiring keynote, and to our Partner – HR Advisory, Ms. Jamuna Muralidharan, for sharing her perspectives on “Future-Ready HR: Capability Building.”
As Bahrain advances its economic diversification goals, Ms Jamuna spotlighted the emerging issue of a growing skilled talent gap. HR must move beyond administrative tasks to focus on strategic workforce planning, capability development, and future readiness. Transitioning to a mature HR function enables organizations to anticipate talent needs, foster continuous learning, and align human capital strategies with long-term objectives. This repositions HR as a critical business enabler, playing a transformative role in building resilient, agile organizations—an imperative for Bahrain’s evolving private sector and national vision.
Gratitude to the organizers, speakers, and everyone who attended and contributed to such an impactful evening. Let’s continue to work on building stronger, more people-centric organisations across the region!
